It can also be used completely independently, as a stand-alone course, although it will, inevitably, encourage the individual to seek further training on completion.

It can be used as a reference work, where particular items can be accessed as the need arises. Managers may also find this very useful – for example, where a manager has a particular issue with a consultant, it is easy to ask them to work through the relevant section, prior to a discussion on say – image, or dealing with a difficult client.
